How to find your XUID:
1. Go to cxkes.me/xbox/xuid
2. Enter your Xbox Gamertag
3. Copy the XUID (DEC) number
4. Send both to Kerrick

Open Minecraft

Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Go to Servers

Tap Play → Servers → scroll to Add Server

🎮 Xbox

Microsoft doesn't let Xbox add custom servers directly. Use the "Add Friend" workaround:

In Minecraft: Friends → Add Friend → search: BCmain

Wait 30 Seconds

Return to the main menu, then go back to Friends

Join BCmain's World

You'll see "Join to open server list." Tap it!

🕹️ PlayStation

PlayStation doesn't allow custom servers. Use the "Add Friend" workaround:

🔴 Nintendo Switch

Switch requires a DNS workaround. There's no "Add Friend" option like Xbox/PlayStation.

Fully Quit Minecraft

Press Home, highlight Minecraft, press X → Close. It must be completely closed.

Open Internet Settings

System Settings → Internet → Internet Settings → select your Wi-Fi

Set Manual DNS

Change Settings → DNS Settings → Manual
Primary: 104.238.130.180
Secondary: 8.8.8.8

Save & Connect

Save settings and test connection

Tap Join on Any Featured Server

Open Minecraft → Play → Servers → tap a Featured Server (like "The Hive") → tap Play

Add Custom Server

The DNS redirects you to BedrockConnect. Choose "Connect to a Server"

Enable "Add to Server List" so you don't have to re-enter it next time.

💡 Tip: After playing, change DNS back to "Automatic" to avoid issues with other games.
🐧 Linux

Bedrock isn't native on Linux. Run Windows in a VM:

Install Boxes

sudo apt install gnome-boxes

Download Windows

Get the Windows 11 ISO from microsoft.com

Create VM

Open Boxes → + → Create from file → select the ISO → give it 8GB+ RAM

Install Bedrock

In Windows: Microsoft Store → Minecraft → get Bedrock Edition

Connect to Server

Play → Servers → Add Server
